What we deliver
Energy projects need buildings that house equipment safely, meet the design actions for the site, and arrive on programme. KLY configures engineered steel buildings for battery storage, electrical and substation facilities — structure, envelope, access and documentation delivered as one building.
KLY delivers the engineered building system and works alongside your appointed electrical, civils, commissioning and installation contractors, with interfaces defined in the quotation. If your requirement spans wider than the building, ask — scope is agreed per project.

Documentation
Documentation & traceability
Structural steelwork is manufactured under EN 1090 through qualified production partners, with the execution class set per project and certification held by the production partner. Every building is supplied with a project document pack — material certificates, welding and inspection records, coating reports, drawings and delivery documentation.
Delivery
Delivery, managed by KLY
Manufacturing release, inspection, packing and freight are managed by KLY and sequenced to your site programme. Delivery terms, destination, off-loading and site-access requirements are defined in the quotation.
Engineering
Engineering support
Every energy building is engineered before manufacture — design basis, structural calculations, general arrangements and connection details, issued with the building. Equipment layouts, penetrations and interfaces are worked out against your electrical and equipment data, with deliverables and design responsibility agreed for the project.

Energy Infrastructure questions
A BESS building is an engineered steel building or enclosure that houses battery energy storage equipment — modules, racks, inverters and auxiliaries. It is configured around the equipment layout, access and maintenance clearances, ventilation openings and the site's separation and fire strategy, and is supplied with the structural and quality documentation the project needs.
Yes — that is the normal starting point. Spans, heights, door positions, openings and penetrations are configured from the equipment datasheets and layout drawings so the building fits the plant rather than the other way round.
The building system covers structure, envelope, doors, access and documentation. Batteries, inverters, switchgear, cabling and electrical works are supplied by your appointed contractors — and if your requirement spans wider than the building, ask: scope is agreed per project.
Acoustic and ventilation requirements are defined at specification stage and built into the configuration — louvre positions and sizes, attenuation provisions and envelope build-up. Performance criteria are set by the project's specialist consultants and coordinated into the building design.
